Environmental performance is engineered into the process.

For ITSB, the environmental value is practical: recover more of what belongs in the process, control what leaves it, and reduce the waste and intervention burden created by poorly separated streams.

Recover product, not waste

Better separation can recover hydrocarbon from process water as sellable product rather than send it to disposal.

Pentair Oil & Gas Separations publishes HRT hydrocarbon-recovery performance of up to ~99.98% for applicable sour-water duties. Performance depends on the duty.

Control water streams

Produced-water and wastewater separation is engineered around the applicable discharge, reuse and process specification — not a one-size-fits-all filter.

The job is to control the stream, protect downstream systems and keep the process inside its agreed operating envelope.

Reduce consumables and intervention burden

Longer-running media and correctly engineered vessels can mean fewer element changes, less spent media and fewer maintenance interventions.

Pentair publishes product-specific service-life improvements for selected technologies. Final duty and lifecycle claims require engineering confirmation.
